According to church chronicles, the relic was created in the 17th century. This is evidenced by the style in which the shrine is written. She belongs to the iconographic type "Panahranta" (this Greek word can be translated as "All-Merciful", "Successful",

"Impeccable").

A characteristic feature of the image is that it shows the Mother of God, dressed in purple clothes, sitting on a golden throne, holding Jesus Christ on her knees. The right hand of the Queen of Heaven points to the Infant God, as if offering people the way to the salvation of their souls. The action of the Savior is extended in a blessing gesture, and in his left hand he holds a scroll - a symbol of the Word of God, carefully preserved on the pages of the Gospel. In the background are cherubim and seraphim, overshadowing the righteous with their wings. Such an image personifies the greatness and glory of the Virgin Mary, Her perfection, mercy and grace, and also helps to get rid of fears, temptations and doubts, fully relying on the will of the Creator.

Currently, the original icon of the "All-Empress" is kept in the Vatoped Monastery on the holy Mount Athos. It was placed near the northeastern column of the temple, to the left of the altar. Monks pray before the relic every day, carefully preserving evidence of the miracles performed by it. Once a person approached the image, and instead of bowing before the face of the Mother of God, he began to mumble indistinctly, performing strange rituals. But suddenly the shrine lit up, and the man fell to the floor, unable to move. When the sinner was able to run out of the church, he confessed to the monks that he practiced witchcraft, and he approached the relic only to perform another rite. However, after the visibly manifested grace, the wicked man's life completely changed - he turned away from magic forever, stayed in the monastery, and later took the tonsure.
